No. There is no requirement whatsoever to smoke or drink.

How long has BNO been meeting?

BNO has been meeting monthly since 2006.

Where can you buy cigars for the meetings?

Some members buy online, some buy at local smoke shops, and some buy from our “Cigar Guy,” Charlie Clark, who brings a large cache of cigars to choose from.

Who provides food & beverage at the meetings?

When we meet at member homes the host will generally provide a main dish of some type and members who attend the meeting are asked to each bring a side dish, drinks, snacks, etc.

During the winter months when meeting at Guadalajara Restaurant you may eat from their menu or not. The food is good and the portions are huge.

Must I be a born-again Christian to attend?

No.
Men need men, not just Christian men. We are open to any and all men who want to attend. Religion not a requirement.

How much is “religion” a part of each monthly meeting?

Monthly BNO’s are not “religous meetings.” However, many of the men who attend are Christian. We do open in prayer for meals and end with prayer each meeting. If prayer is needed for a member, we are not above stopping the meeting and pray for the individual immediately.

I'm an introvert, will I fit in?

There is never a requirement for anyone to speak. Many times you are able to get great insight by just listening to the other men. Come try it and see how it fits.

What is the purpose of BNO?

BNO is a place for men to speak freely on any subject that is affecting them or thier life. Men have few, if any outlets, to be open about what they are going through. BNO is a safe place with no judgement or condemnation.

How long are the meetings?

The meetings start at 6:30pm and continue til we are done. Generally we are finished by 10pm. You may come and go as you please. There is no requirement to stay through the entire meeting.
